Practicing Faith in the Workplace
Christian employers play a critical role in society by creating value with a commitment to productivity, integrity, excellence, and employee care -- all based on Biblical principles. The result is a sustainable organization which contributes to flourishing employees and positive community impact for God's glory.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”
- 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Be encouraged. You have a right to practice your faith in the workplace.
The “free exercise” of religion is a God given right that is protected in the United States Constitution, state constitutions and by many state and federal laws. We are free to exercise that right in our daily lives, not just on Sundays.
Over the past several decades, state and federal laws have increasingly infringed on our liberty to exercise our faith in the public square.
Christian Employers Alliance has been formed by Christian leaders from many sectors - business owners, pastors, non-profit leaders - who decided to unite their organizations - including businesses, schools, colleges, hospitals, churches, and non-profit ministries - to protect their right to run their organizations in a manner consistent with their Christian beliefs and deeply held convictions, create Christ centered culture in the workplace, and impact the well-being of communities.
